As CEO, Steve oversees the day-to-day operations of the Foundation while representing it at public functions. He came to the position after serving on the Foundation’s board for 10 years, including a term as chair. Steve is also well-known for his long-spanning radio career, his enthusiastic emcee abilities and his colourful impressions.
Tracy’s role is to help donors express their true values, guiding them to decide where their dollars are most meaningfully spent with the Foundation. Bringing nearly two decades of experience in financial services, she is responsible for fostering donor relationships and developing new gifts, a position that requires her to work closely with both individual and corporate donors.
The first person people usually will see in our office, Marlene joined SCHF after a long career at RUH Foundation. She oversees the statistical side of the Foundation’s direct mail program, inputting and maintaining Foundation data and ensuring that donor information is accurate and accessible. Marlene also is responsible for processing donations and clerical support for a variety of tasks in the office. She also plays key roles in event organization and coordinating special projects.
Kendra provides personal, confidential and related administrative services to the CEO. She’s also the representative for Black Tie Bingo and all existing or proposed third party events benefitting the Foundation. Kendra also has roles in office management, special event organization, policy maintenance, donor recognition, and numerous other special projects. Kendra spent eight years working for a local engineering firm before joining the Foundation.
Tom is responsible for the external and internal imaging of the Foundation. He oversees the Well Aware magazine, the Foundation website and its social media pages while liaising with media, donors and suppliers. Tom has been a professional communicator for almost 30 years and was a Features Writer at the Saskatoon StarPhoenix for 15 years.
Judy oversees the Foundation’s ongoing fiscal health. She has a long history with Saskatoon City Hospital, where she worked in the Finance Department for many years. A volunteer fundraiser for the Breast Health Centre, she co-chaired the staff fundraising campaign which raised over $250,000!
Nicole is the lead employee for the recommendation, coordination and execution of SCHF fundraising events, including Swinging with the Stars and Golfun. She works on a portfolio of events with key board members to develop unique experiences which acquire donors and deepen donor engagement. Also a working dance teacher, Nicole has a history of event planning and management through her family’s business.
