Attend the annual Doctor Series on Nov. 13 and learn about an exciting initiative. Doctor Don McIntosh, medical director at Saskatoon City Hospital’s Medical Imaging department, will discuss the need to upgrade the hospital’s fluoroscopy suite and also replace the portable x-ray unit.
While x-rays are still pictures, fluoroscopy images are like movies. They let doctors see what’s happening in real time. Replacing the 18-year old fluoroscopy equipment means better imaging and clearer diagnoses. For thousands of patients, fluoroscopy is the first step in discovery, diagnosis and treatment.
Your gift could help a couple have a family. It’s help for a senior who can’t eat. It’s the nod from the doctor who says, “We know what it is and what to do.”
Attend the Doctor Series on Tuesday, Nov. 13 to find out how you can change lives, improve lives and save lives.
